Steve Clark

Steve Clark is the founder and principal Director of Clark Associates. 

He is a highly experienced, motivated and innovative commercial manager with a strong technology background and extensive hands-on experience.

He spent the earlier part of his working life pioneering numerous forms of emerging media, developing exciting new customer-centric products and propositions working for companies including Virgin, Pearson, Europe Online and BT.

After being involved in a dotcom spinout with BT, Steve went into Consulting and Interim management with an extensive client list including Carlton, Sky and M&S before joining Gamesys Ltd initally as a non-exec and then as Strategic Operations Director.

Gamesys is one of the UK's foremost privately owned online gambling companies.  Steve delivered their mobile gambling service and also put together the processes and documentation for successful gambling licence applications in several territories as well as implementing Programme and Portfolio management in an an Agile development environment.

Steve left Gamesys and set up Clark Associates at the start of 2010 to provide affordable consulting and interim management.

Steve has regularly operated at Board level to devise commercial strategy, but also “rolling his sleeves up” to deliver the solutions, managing the staff, developments, operational infrastructure and the processes around them.

Steve's career has focussed mostly on delivering products and services into consumer markets driven by technology, including online retailing, broadband publishing, interactive TV, mobile, computer games, gaming and gambling.
